Janet Jackson “fan” sues Live Nation over postponed shows

Looks like Janet’s recent maternity leaves aren’t being rejoiced by all of her fans. After a series of rescheduled shows of her ‘Unbreakable World Tour’ one fan has gone ahead and filed a lawsuit against Live Nation for not issuing a refund and constantly terming it as a ‘reschedule’ and not a ‘cancellation’

The Unbreakable tour is the seventh tour by the pop superstar, in support of her most recent studio album with the same title. But it has been on and off hold constantly, for well-over a year due to a surgery and family planning. During the reschedule of the North American leg of the tour, Janet also released an official statement for her fans.

“Please, if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can”, she said.

Janet’s tour has been on hold since 2016, as was suggested to her by her doctors. And she still hasn’t been able to come up with a date to restart the tour, as she seems happily busy with being a new mom. However it isn’t going down well with some fans and they are simply fed up of waiting and wanting their money back.

Live Nation hasn’t released any statement on this as yet.
