The TV remake of the Patrick Swayze starrer cult classic ‘Dirty Dancing’ is here to make you move again. Starring the adorable Abigail Breslin in the lead role, the movie is scheduled to make it’s premiere on ABC on May 24th.
Not much has been changed in the story-line, but things are attempted to be told from a fresh and different perspective, with newcomer Colt Prattes starring opposite Abigail and playing the role Swayze played in the original. The movie also stars Bruce Greenwood, Nicole Scherzinger, Sarah Hyland among others.
The remake will also feature fresh versions of the tracks from the classic soundtrack, with rehashed takes of “Time of My Life,” “Love Man,” and “Do You Love Me”
Dirty Dancing is scheduled to premiere on May 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC
