Akshay Kumar receives Maoist threats for donating money to Martyrs' families.

Akshay Kumar - who's been very vocal about his support for our men in uniform, has time and again come forward in helping the families of the Martyrs who lost their lives in the battleground.

The actor had recently extended his support to the families of CRPF Jawaans who were martyred in a Maoist attack in Chattisgharh, on March 11, by donating a sum of 9 lakhs to each of the families.

This has instigated the Chattisgharh Maoists to issue a threat against the superstar, who have warned him against providing any form of help to the families, stating that they 'loot the poor.'

The Maoists also threatened ace badminton player, Saina Nehwal, who had also donated a sum of 6 Lakhs to the families of the CRPF Martyrs. Warning the two to not extend any form of support to the families, the group also asked them to stand by their side in their 'movement.'

Following the attack in Sukma Chattisgharh more than 2 months ago, Kumar had also launched an app called, 'Bharat Ke Veer', which provides a mean to anyone who is willing to make a direct transfer to funds to the families of Martyrs.

Kumar or Nehwal have not made any comment as of now, following the threats.
