Last month, in an unprecedented Box-office victory, Baahubali 2 - the S.S. Rajamouli directed magnum opus became the first Indian movie ever to cross the 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box-office, but as everyone went gaga over the jaw-dropping success of the movie, Aamir Khan starrer Dangal finally hit the screens in China, opening with record-breaking collections.

The Filmfare award winning movie was originally released in December 2016 domestically and grossed over 725 crores by the end of it's first run, which has now been surpassed by it's total collection in China alone.

Yes, you read that right. Dangal has done what no other Indian movie has been able to do on international markets till now, grossing over 753 crores in China.

This puts the critically acclaimed biopic at a total collection of 1501 crores worldwide, while Baahubali 2 has raked in 1565 crores so far.

With the Dangal-mania is still going strong among the Chinese viewers, the movie holds strong chances to surpass the Prabhas and Rana Dagubatti starrer epic saga in the Box-Office race. Both movies are currently raking it in at the box office and show no signs of stopping.

Irrespective of who finishes ahead, its going to be a glorious moment for Indian cinema either way.

Which one are you betting on?
