Sunil Grover to Return with His Own Show on TV. Kapil Sharma's show to Close.

After a hiatus from the The Kapil Sharma show, following a very controversial fight with the show's lead host, Sunil Grover is ready to make a comeback.

The comedian and actor is reportedly getting his groove back with the reality show, 'Sabse Bada Kalakaar' which co-stars actress Raveena Tandon and actor Boman Irani.

Almost two months ago, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover got into a massive fight while traveling on a flight from Australia to Mumbai, with the rest of the crew of their show. Sharma was later accused of hitting Sunil with his shoe in a drunken state and insulting the rest of the cast, for having eaten their dinner without him. Following the incident, Grover along with some other major acts of Sharma's show boycotted shooting for further episodes and left the show for good.

Sunil would now be seen reprising his infamous role of 'Dr. Mashoor Gulati' in Sabse Bada Kalakaar. He will be joined by his fellow comedians Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar, who also left The Kapil Sharma show, as a sign of protest, following the incident.

Controversies, didn't seem to end for the show even after the fight, as recently it was also accused of plagiarism by a stand-up comedian, who claimed that the show had used his jokes without his permission while airing their 100th episode. Kiku Sharda, who most notably played the character of 'Palak' on the show, issued a clarification to The Times Of India in this matter, "We are a big team and brainstorm before every episode. Someone cracked this joke and we made it a part of the script. It is possible that the same idea came to our writers, or maybe they had heard it somewhere. It is not that we do not use popular SMS or WhatsApp jokes. We can't keep track of who cracked what joke and when."

Meanwhile, it has been reported that the TRP's of the Kapil Sharma show, had also dropped significantly post the exist of Grover - despite several attempts being made by Kapil to revive the show with new characters, it seemed to have failed to make the same mark with the audience. The Kapil Sharma show is now said to be replaced by Salman Khan's Dus Ka Dum due to fall in the viewership, however no official confirmation has been made in that regard as of now.
