Watch: Diljit Dosanjh play a witty Super Hero in new film, 'Super Singh'

Diljit Dosanjh is back with a brand new flick. The singer-turned-actor will be seen in the Punjabi-filmmaker, Anurag Singh directed action-comdey, 'Super Singh' in a never before seen avatar.

Balaji Motion Pictures, launched the first teaser for the movie on 9th May, which shows Dosanjh playing a goofy super-hero who's out there to save the world in his own comical and sassy way. The movie also stars Sonam Bajwa who plays the romantic interest of the 'Udta Punjab' actor in the movie.

The 33 year old actor, was last seen in the Anushka Sharma starrer, 'Phillauri' which was an average success at the Box Office, grossing nearly 50 crores on a budget of 21 crores.

Although, 'Super Singh' is a Punjabi film, the trailer for the movie has garnered massive attention from fans across nation due to the Diljit's popularity and mass-appeal. Within three days of it's launch on YouTube, the trailer has been watched nearly 2.8 million times.

At first glance, the teaser does give you a throwback to another Balaji project from last year, 'Flying Jatt', which had Tiger Shroff playing a similar character of a comical super-hero, however the first look of 'Super Singh' seems to be getting a better reception from both viewers and Bollywood stars alike, for being more slick and funny.
