Wait, What? Journalist covers his own wedding as "Breaking News"

What is the strangest thing you have seen a reporter or news presenter do in the name of journalism?

As the completion among news channels continue to grow, it isn't uncommon for them to pick the most outlandish story every now and then and present it in the wackiest way that you wouldn't necessarily expect to see in a news channel.

One such "news report" that can be perfectly described with that introduction comes from Pakistan, where a journalist from a mainstream news channel covered his own wedding as a "breaking news."

Yes. Like we hadn't already seen it all - the story appeared on the country's City41 channel - in which reporter Hanan Bukhari did a coverage on his own wedding.

"My family members and I are very happy today. Since, it is a love marriage, my wife and her family members are happy too," Bukhari said. "My parents present here have gone to lengths and made arrangements to make this day come true," he added while speaking to the camera.

Not only that, Bukhari also took turns to interview his mother, father, mother-in-law and newly wedded wife.

The funny thing is - it all seems to be taking place in all seriousness, especially when Bukhari interviews his fathers to ask him about his feelings and when he speaks to his wife questioning what she feels about marrying him.

"Bahot acha laga mujhe, bahot acha laga mujhe aapne meri pehli khwaaish puri ki,main ummeed karti hoon aap aage bhi isi tarah saari zindagi, saari khwaaishein aap puri karenge, aap mujhe khush rakhenge (I am very happy today. You fulfilled my first wish, I hope you fulfil all my future wishes and keep me happy.)," his wife replied.
