Watch: Ariana Grande delivers a powerful rendition of ‘Natural Woman’ at Aretha Franklin funeral

Ariana Grande was one of the select-few A-listers who were due to perform at Aretha Franklin’s Friday funeral service, and she delivered quite a show.

Grande, who cites Franklin as one of her many vocal inspirations, chose to perform her memorable classic ‘Natural Woman’ and belted out to a crowd which included the likes of Smokey Robinson, former president Bill Clinton, former first lady Hilary Clinton, Jennifer Hudson, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder and Faith Hills (who sang a rousing rendition of ‘What a Friend We Have In Jesus’) – to name a few!

Watch her stellar vocal showcase below:

This wasn’t the first time Ariana payed respect to the Queen of Soul. The ‘One Last Time’ singer covered the same song (Natural Woman) during a recent airing of Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, shortly after the passing of the legendary singer.

Other performers of the home-going-service in Detroit included: Chaka Khan who sang “I’m Going Up Yonder,” Ron Isley who followed-up with gospel hymn, “His Eye is on the Sparrow” and Fantasia Barrin who performed a soulful rendition of “Take My Hand, Precious Lord.”
