Mac Miller’s sudden death certainly came as a shock for the music industry. The 26 year old rapper died from an apparent drug overdose at his California residence on September 7th and fellow musicians and colleagues have been paying tribute and remembering the young producer since then.

Ariana Grande who dated Miller for a period of 2 years and also collaborated with him on her single, ‘The Way’ is also overwhelmed with emotions since his passing.

The ‘Breakfree’ singer posted a message on her Instagram handle, as a tribute to the Pittsburgh born producer/songwriter.

Grande posted an old video of herself with Miller on an apparent date-night along with  a message, expressing her disbelief in her long-time friend’s passing.

“I adored you from the day I met you when I was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. So many times,” Grande wrote.
