Watch: Aretha Franklin’s FINAL Public Performance!

Aretha Franklin’s career has lasted more than majority of the music artists in history. The late and great Queen of Soul, who started out back in the 1950’s, continued to entertain her audiences and soothe the souls of her music-lovers by performing till the very last year of her life.

Franklin who passed away this past month, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer – was last seen performing at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation gala in November.

The legendary songstress sang a medley of her biggest hits in NYC, which included her soaring uptemo megahit, ‘I Say A Little Prayer.’

She was still unwell at this time, but she gave it her all, nevertheless.

Speaking on, what has now become her last major public performance, Elton John wrote the following on his Instagram handle:

“She was obviously unwell, and I wasn’t sure she could perform. But Aretha did and she raised the roof. She sang and played magnificently, and we all wept.”

This makes us miss her even more!
