A heartbreaking video of an abandoned dog crying real tears at a shelter home shows the kind of mental trauma, ‘un homed’ pets go through.
AJ – an adorable Lebra and Pitbull cross was deserted by its owners, and was left at a nearby shelter home.
Any pet owner would tell you how devastating that could be a for an ageing pooch suddenly deprived of its home. The dog had apparently been given up as the owner could not afford to take care of him anymore.
The confused, depressed and shattered bud was filmed inside the shelter confinements, quivering and crying.
Not many people may know this, but abandoned dogs often tend to fall into severe mental depression, which on many occasions lead to their ultimate demise.
AJ – was slightly lucky in that regard. As the clipping shared by Saving Carson Shelter Dogs’ Facebook page went viral, and like most of their other rescues, he soon managed to find a new, loving home for himself.
The viral dog – whose heartbreaking video soon caught fire managed to be rescued from the cage-house.
A follow-up post on the video read – “This beauty touched the hearts of a lot of people and today he was lucky enough to take his freedom walk out of the shelter, even while he is struggling with a cold.”
“He was rescued,” the post further continued, “…and we are hoping tomorrow that rescue will work with the different rescue that is saving his bonded brother Toby, so they can be reunited. Both have been seriously depressed since they were separated…Happy life sweet AJ.”
Nothing more heartbreaking than seeing a bundle of love like Aj – sad and crying.
Glad he finally found a home, again.
