20 Years of ‘Baby One More Time’, Britney Remembers ‘Starting Out’ With Her First Record…

It has been 20 years since Britney Spears scorched into the music scene with her multi-platinum selling debut album, ‘Baby One More Time.’

For those of us who grew-up in the 90’s, this record can easily be associated with a number of memories from the time it hit our television sets back in 1998, especially considering it’s “hugeness.”

How huge? The album became the biggest selling debut LP by a female artist in history, surpassing a record previously held by Whitney Houston, for her 1985 released self-titled debut record.

Taking to Instagram, Britney reflected back at the moment when she was only 17 and ‘the world heard her music for the first time’.

Here is what she had to say:

“It’s hard to put into words what today means to me… 20 years ago, the world heard my music for the very first time! So much has happened since then… but what I really want to say is thank you to my amazing fans who have been there for me since day 1. Your support over the years has meant the absolute world to me!! Love you all!”
