Kelly Rowland has responded to folks who were claiming that she had started to bleach her skin to make it lighter in complexion.
The ‘Motivation’ singer took to her Instagram story to address rumors about the alleged ‘light appearance’ of her skin, denying any such claims – after her recent Instagram uploads were subjected to such criticism by followers.
“I never answer questions like this because I think it’s so stupid,” the 37 year old hitmaker addressed her fans.
Kells further added:
“I am not the one to bleach my skin, nor do I want to bleach my skin, nor do I have to bleach my skin. It’s not for me … So don’t go saying stupid stuff like that. You ever thought that it could be the lighting?”
The singer further showered some self-love on herself:
“I am still chocolate, forever chocolate, proud to be chocolate.”
