Christina Aguilera’s latest offering, ‘Liberation’ may not have made a significant mark on the charts – but that doesn’t mean she’s going to go on a hiatus of another couple of years before releasing her next studio project – like most performers these days, seem to do.
The Grammy winning hitmaker is already gearing up to release another ‘special’ project, along with a number of other goodies for her fans.
This may very well mean, that Christina has understood the importance of not being absent for too long from the scene so as to lose your relevance in the mainstream. The singer’s ‘Liberation’ album came out after a hiatus of nearly 6 years since her previous one – a long and dreadful wait for her fans, which in a way impacted the sales of her ‘comeback.’
The ‘Candyman’ songstress took to social media to announce some more dates of her ‘Liberation’ tour, apart from ‘new material’ and a ‘special album in the vault.’

Considering the fact that at 37, the singer is more secure an artist than before and doesn’t constantly have to worry about churning out #1’s, as she’s already been there and done that, it would be interesting what she brings to the table, this time around.
