Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Patti LaBelle & More Come Together To Tribute Aretha Franklin

The recording academy’s way to pay homage to one of its greatest voices was as spectacular as you’d imagine it to be.

Nearly 7 months after her passing, Aretha Franklin was remembered fondly as some of the biggest voices in popular music came together to sing her classic tunes and pay homage to the late diva at CBS special ‘Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul.’

The likes of Patti Labelle, Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Shirley Caesar, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson, among others, took the stage to sing some of Franklin’s most fondly remembered classics in a star-studded ceremony hosted by Tyler Perry.
