Lady Gaga’s ‘Shallow’ Finally Tops Billboard Charts. Her First #1 Since ‘Born This Way’

Lady Gaga may have finished first in the race to the Oscars, winning her first Academy Award in the ‘Best Original Song’ category, but that certainly does not conclude her success-galore from ‘A Star Is Born.’

Thanks to her glorified Oscar-win earlier this past week and a sensational duet performance with co-star Bradley Cooper, the Grammy winning singer-songwriter has managed to take her critically acclaimed single, ‘Shallow’ to the top of the Billboard charts.

Scoring her first number 1 in nearly 8 years, Gaga’s duet with Cooper has pushed Ariana Grande’s ‘7 Rings’ to the #2 spot, claiming the top position this week.

‘Shallow’ becomes Gaga’s fourth song to reach the top. Her last #1 was ‘Born This Way’, which happened in 2011

Expect this to be included in all of Gaga’s upcoming tours, as it earns a special place in her catalog.
