The recent years in Mariah Carey’s career may have been marred by controversies related to lip-syncing and a number of other “performance issues”, but that isn’t stopping the songstress from putting together more ‘glittery’ shows for her lambs.
The multiple Grammy award winning diva has kick-started her much-anticipated ‘Caution Tour’ in support of her recently released studio album and was seen performing to overzealous audiences in Irving, Texas this past week.
The tour, which covers prominent cities in the Unites States first, will eventually head to cater to her fans in Europe in the coming months.
Interestingly, following the recent chart-ascend of her previously-panned project, ‘Glitter’ – thanks to last year’s fan-led campaign – #JusticeForGlitter, MC also acknowledged the 2001-released LP, with a special section giving tribute to songs like, ‘Never Too Far’ and ‘Last Night a DJ Saved My Life.’
