The rate at which Ariana Grande’s dropping new singles affirms she’s here to make the most of her ongoing Pop-dominance.
The 25 year old hitmaker, who’s still enjoying the success of her recently released fifth studio album – ‘Thank U, Next’ has unveiled yet another trap-pop song with longtime collaborator Victoria Monet.
With a music video and sound that is, yet again, reminiscent of Beyonce’s work in the ‘Lemonade’ album, Grande pulls multiple strings to address things from her recent past, including a reference to the fact that she had to pay 90% of her royalties for ‘7 Rings’ to Rodgers & Hammerstein for sampling the melody of their Sound Of Music classic into the track.
With Grande enjoying 8th week atop the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘7 Rings’, will this ‘trap-licious’ track give her yet another hit?
Given her recent string of non-stop success, we won’t be surprised, if it does.
