Iman Says She Will Never Remarry, Even Though She’s ‘Lonely’ After Husband David Bowie’s Death

3 years have passed since music legend David Bowie passed away at the age of 69. But the singer’s grieving wife, Iman is still not ready to think about the subject of ‘remarriage.’

The 63 year old former supermodel and entrepreneur is certain that she will never tie the knot or walk down the aisle again, after her husband’s demise.

In an interview with ‘Net-A-Porter‘, Iman revealed how she has managed to cope with her husband’s passing and how, despite feeling ‘lonely’ at times, she will never get married again.

In the emotional and raw and Q&A, Iman also stated how she will never refer to Bowie as “her late husband” and hangs on to his memories enough to “never remarry.”

“I mentioned my husband the other day with someone, and they said to me: ‘You mean your late husband?’ I said, no, he is always going to be my husband,” she was quoted telling Porter.

Iman did state that she at times feels “very lonely”, but the idea of a relationship is still a far-call:

“Do I want a relationship? I can’t say never, but no, not now.”

Talking about how she is coping with the passing of her husband of 26 years, Iman said:

“Sometimes, I don’t want people to know how sad I am. People say to me: Oh, you’re so strong. I’m not strong – I am just trying to keep it together.”
