Days after teasing their fans with the announcement, Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino and Rihanna have unveiled their new collaborative effort – ‘Guava Island’, a 55-minute short-film on Amazon Prime.
Directed by Japanese-American filmmaker, Hiro Murai – who previously helmed the visual for Gambino’s crossover hit – ‘This Is America’, the film is set to have drawn inspiration from the 2002 released crime-drama, ‘City Of God.’
The movie, which also stars Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie, is exclusively available for Amazon Prime members, so far and the trailer and stunning previews released online should be enough to make you want to ‘subscribe.’
