SRK meets an ailing Dilip Kumar, who calls him his "Muh Bola Beta"

If in case you didn't know already actor Shah Rukh Khan's top inspiration from the beginning of his career till this very day, has been the legendary screen-idol, Dilip Kumar.

The 51 year old actor has consistently maintained his respect and adoration for the Golden-era superstar, who he says has inspired him most as an artist.

So, it is only natural for Khan to reach out to his icon, now that he's in poor health and has been going in an out of hospital.

The 94 year old pioneer, was recently admitted to hospital due to some serious health complications, but is now back home, trying to make recovery - with the help of wife, Saira Banu.

Khan took this opportunity to make a visit to his residence to pass on his well wishes and give him a few kisses and hugs.

Banu, who's also one of the most prominent actresses of her time, posted an image of their meeting on Kumar's behalf, addressing Shah Rukh as Dilip Kumar's "Muh Bola Beta" - as the 'Naya Daur' actor likes to call him.

"Sahab's mooh-bola beta-"son" @iamsrk visited Sahab today," Banu posted on Dilip Kumar's Twitter account. "Sahab's doing much better since return from the hospital. Shukar Allah," she affirmed.

In response to the Tweet, SRK also posted a message on Twitter, with a pic of the two actors and quote from Kumar stating, "If I had a son, he would look like Shah Rukh Khan."

Indeed, a beautiful moment between two superstars of different era's.
