The tough part about showbiz is not just finding a way to enter into it - but also doing enough to continue to survive in the long run.

The struggle of constantly searching for employment, between one project and the next one - is multiplied by the fact that there are a lot more fillers for those positions than the actual number of vacancies.

Television's once popular 'Bahu-turned-Vamp-turned-Saans', Jaya Bhattacharya seems to have learnt it all the hard way.

The actress, who featured on Ekta Kapoor's popular series, 'Kyunki...Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and was last seen on 'Thapki Pyar Ki', has been out of work for an extensive period - which has led her to a derailed financial position.

According to a report published on Telly Chakkar, the actress' financial situation has only worsened further since the past couple of days, due to her 79 year old mother's sickness and hospitalization.

“My mother has been admitted from 26 November. I am in a deep fix as all my finances are down the drain. Due to a renovation contract for my house, I am currently put up at my rakhi brother’s place," Bhattacharya said. "Though there is a lot of liberty in taking decisions and doing things, I don’t have anybody whom I can depend on or whose shoulder I can cry on. I am a strong woman and I have never given up. I will never. But I am in a terrible fix and badly in need of work."

Hoping Jaya finds the help she's looking for and fights her way through the tough-time!
