Salman Khan: "I gave Sanjay Leela Bhansali two hits and he chose SRK in his next film"

Salman Khan feels some kind of way about Sanjay Leela Bhansali. And like most other times, he's not someone to refrain himself from saying what comes across his head.

The 51 year old star, who's at full-swing to promote his upcoming action-romance, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' was at a press conference, where he didn't even attempt to bounce of any questions that came his way.

And why would he? Not only has Khan learnt the art of mixing his opinions with a pinch of humor and sarcasm in such a manner that its almost always passable material for tabloids, he also happens to have an image of someone who his colleagues would not want to form a friction or animosity with. (Remember, he isn't referenced as 'Bhai' without a reason!)

So given the current controversies revolving around Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati', when reporters quizzed Salman on his take on the whole thing, he didn't take too long to respond by pulling Bhansali's leg over a past-decision of casting Shah Rukh Khan in his most ambitious project.

“I gave Sanjay Leela Bhansali two hit films, and he took Shah Rukh Khan in his next film,” Salman told News 18 and also managed to laugh it off himself.

The film in question here is Bhansali's 'Devdas' - which was released after the filmmaker had already created two projects with Salman in the past - 'Khaamoshi' and 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.'

If you're looking for a possible response from Bhansali, don't even hope for it. Given Khan's previous history of beefs with his co-stars, noone wants to get in that place with him.

So, we'll just laugh it off, like he did.
