Virat Kohli invited his differently-abled fan all the way from Sri Lanka to his Mumbai reception and people are full of praise

While Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's reception in Mumbai comprised of almost every major Bollywood star that you can think of, there was one other guest that made just as many headlines as the rest of them.

It was - Gayan Senanayake, Kohli's differently-abled fan from Sri Lanka who got a special invite from the cricketer himself, to their lavish wedding reception.

Most cricket-fanatics may already be familiar with Senanayake, whose viral pictures with the newly-wedded couple were featured prominently on the mainstream media.

Speaking to India Today, the sports-enthusiast revealed that he's been in touch with Kohli for a long time now.

“I met him at the 2007 under-19 world cup in Malaysia before he even came to Sri Lanka. And every time he came we stayed in touch."

Upon his arrival to the venue, Senanayake, did not just get to click a few selfies with the couple - but also took a few other shots with a number of other Team India players, including - Sachin Tendulkar.

As expected, people were full of praise for Kohli, for his admirable gesture of inviting Senanayake over to his celebrations in India.
