Yo Yo Honey Singh is set to make his return to music after a gap of nearly 2 years.

The troubled rapper and hitmaker ventured out of the music scene after an alleged prolonged battle with substance addiction and bipolar disorder, which he confessed to himself.

The music producer and performer previously spoke his absens revealing his struggle with the condition, “The last 18 months were the darkest phase of my life, and I wasn't in a state to talk to anyone. I know there were rumours that I was in rehab (for drug overdose), but I was in my Noida house throughout."

He further added, "The truth is I was suffering from bipolar disorder. It went on for 18 months, during which I changed four doctors, the medication wasn't working on me and crazy things were happening, I must confess that I was bipolar and an alcoholic, which aggravated the condition."

Putting behind his past, Yo Yo is set to make a comeback with a brand new song for the upcoming dramedy, 'Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety.'

The song is said to be inspired from Hans Raj Hans' classic Punjabi track, 'Dil Chori Sadda Ho Gaya' - with an added 'Bhangra flavor' to it.

"I've always appreciated Hans Raj Hansji's work. It was great to turn his song into a Bhangra number with Hindi lyrics,” he told Mid-day in a statement. "I am happy to bring a new song for my fans. I want to convey my love to them, because they have waited for my music for so long."

Here is the original hit from Hans Raj Hans, and we'll leave the rest to your imagination, until Yo Yo's version comes out:
