Ranveer Singh undergoes epic transformation for a new movie - from 'beastly-hunk' to 'super lean'

You know how Bollywood actors having pushing their limits unlike ever before, with their intense emotional and physical devotion to get into the very skin of the character as much as they can?

From loosing excessive weight to gaining huge muscles, actors these days are constantly trying to challenge themselves with each new role.

For his upcoming musical drama, actor Ranveer Singh yet again seems to have taken bodily transformation to another extreme.

The actor who gained muscly, shredded physique to play the role of Alauddin Khilji for 'Padmavat' has now dropped every almost bit of it to achieve a leaner, toned look for his upcoming Zoya Akhtar-directorial, ''Gully Boy''.

The actor took to Twitter share the 'before' and 'after' images of his pretty epic transformation:

Although the extreme physical transformation may not be directly proportional to the effectiveness of an actor's performance (especially if you don't have the chops to pull it off), it does somewhere contribute to be and feel more like the individual you're playing.

'Gully Boy' also stars Alia Bhatt and is said to be based on the lives of street rappers, 'Divine' and Naezy, who came to light after their independent musical efforts.
