Watch: 'Padmaavat' craze catches up in the U.S. Cheerleaders dance to 'Ghoomar' during NBA game

Padmaavat may have been fighting its way out through all the controversies - both before and after its release, but the movie has successfully managed to set the box office on fire on both domestic and international markets.

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus has even surpassed the opening collections of his previous two ventures - 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Raam Leela' - and the crazy is catching up with international audiences too.

Same became pretty evident during a recent NBA match in the United States, when Cheerleaders chose to perform a beautifully choreographed dance routine's on the movie's lead single, 'Ghoomar.'

In a viral video uploaded online, a group of cheerleaders can be seen performing on the Deepika Padukone-led traditional dance number during the mid-break of a game between Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat held on Jan. 28 - and the audience was clearly loving it as they cheered and clapped along.

Watch it below:

Dressed in traditional lehenga's, the girls rocked the energetic routine - and although nothing beats Deepika's mesmerizing graceful moves, this was hell lotta fun!

What do you think?
