While most Bollywood celebs prefer to keep themselves away from expressing any political opinions in public - as it often results into their own work facing the direct wrath and repercussions of it, actress Richa Chadda has fearlessly spoken her mind on the increasing number of crimes against women.

The 'Fukrey' actress made a sarcastic post on Twitter, calling out the government for their inability to prosecute and take timely action against the culprits of such crimes.

Referencing the ongoing controversy related to the 'Unnao rape case' - in which a BJP MLA has been accused of raping a minor and the failure of the local police in timely registering a case against him, the actress mocked government's 'Beti Bachao' scheme - calling it 'Beti Humse Bachao' instead.

Here is what she said:

The Unnao case has become a subject of national debate due to the police failing to file a timely chargesheet and the suspicious death of her own father in police custody.

As one would expect - Richa's tweet was met with mixed responses on Twitter.

While some lauded her fearless attitude for stating her opinions, several Twitter trolls also went to the extreme of questioning her own character for criticizing the government.
