R. Madhavan is a proud dad as his 12 YO son wins Bronze for India during International Swim Meet in Thailand

R. Madhavan's 12 year old son, Vedaant, has made his parents proud.

The 'Tanu Weds Manu' actor shared how the little one has managed to grab a bronze medal for India while competing on an international swim meet held in Thailand.

Taking to Instagram, the actor shared a picture of his son showing his medal and certificate with the following caption:

"Proud moment for Sarita and I as Vedaant wins his first medal for India in an international swim meet in Thailand today. Thank you for all your blessings ."

Vedaant participated in the 1500 meter freestyle at the Thailand Age Group Swimming Championship 2018 and happens to be quite a pro in the sport - which landed him at the third position in the competition.

A proud moment for the parents indeed.

Madhavan had previously shared how he values his son's opinions and instinct before taking up new ventures - something he followed before signing for his latest online series, 'Breathe.'

"He has an acute sense of what will work and his reactions have proved right all the time, so I value it immensely. He was all smiles and is very excited about Breathe."

Congratulations Vedaant and Madhavan.
