Lalu Yadav's son's wedding: Guests loot crockery and food items after Varmala

It all started well at the much publicized wedding of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tej Pratap Yadav, with a vast number of people flocking at the venue in abundance, until an unruly mob took charge and basically started looting food items and crockery.

Yep! You read that right.

The embarrassing situation occurred towards the later half of the program as soon as the bride and the groom exchanged wedding garlands. The overzealous mob then starting looting the food items and crockery, breaking and dismantling several items in the process and turning tables and chairs upside down.

The arrangement was made to host a feast for over 7000 guests, but apparently there was no management or a plan in-place to control a crowd that huge.

Some of the organizers, volunteers and RJD workers did try to chase away the uncontrollable crowd - but it couldn't be tamed once after the loot started.

While a number of media people present at the venue complained about being manhandled by a few elements from the crowd, the caterers also pointed out the loss and damage of several of their crockery items.

People could be literally seen jumping over chairs and tables and looting packets of ice-creams and bottles of cold-drinks, while causing severe damage to the property and the arrangements.

Watch this video to get a glimpse of how bad it got:
