90's Pop group - 'A Band Of Boys' is making a comeback with brand new music!

There was a time when independent artists had the leverage to release solo records, outside of the world of soundtracks - only because they had a vast group of curious listeners out there who were eager to give their ears to it.

The trend suddenly took a tumble and what was glooming into a major crossover genre to represent Indian Pop music internationally started to vanish, and a major chunk of distinguished pop artists of the iconic 90's Indi-pop era went into oblivion.

In an attempt to revive the charm of the times-gone-by, popular 90's boy band- 'A Band Of Boys' are set to make a comeback with brand new music from their latest independent efforts.

The gorgeous hunks of the catchy-pop group, who were known for their hits like 'Meri Neend Ud Gayi Hai' and 'Tu Hi Mera Pyaar Gori', have reunited yet again to give you a break from Bollywood for a while.

The group did try their hands as solo artists a few years ago after parting ways, but that seemed to not have worked for any of them

Working with a new label now, the reformed band is going through some contractual obligations before they release their first song as a group after nearly 2 decades.

Varkey Patani - co-producer of the label, 'Go Live Talent and Record' said the following in a statement to IANS:

“The band will be unveiling the first song of their upcoming album during a live performance, which will be held on June 11 in Mumbai. The yet-to-be-revealed track is the recreation of one of their original songs, and is expected to be the next party anthem.”

Their upcoming song will reportedly be titled 'Yuhin Jalne Ko' - and we're already super-hyped about it.

Is it time to revive the great Indi-pop genre once again?
