2017 MTV Movie and TV awards: See the complete list of winners
The 26th annual MTV Movie and TV awards held on 7th May, opened with several memorable speeches and red carpet appearances, from Emma Watson to Millie Bobby Brown. It is the first time the award show has included not just cinematic but also television categories.
Hosted by Adam DeVine, the top winners of the evening included Emma Watson, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Trevor Noah among others.
'Beauty and the Beast' took home the award in two top categories - 'Movie Of The Year' and 'Best Actor In A Movie' for Emma Watson, beating Hugh Jackson for 'Logan' and Taraji P. Henson for 'Hidden Figures.' 'Show Of The Year' went to the Netflix series, 'Stranger Things' while Trevor Noah won the 'Best Host' award for Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show' over Ellen DeGeneres.
