Singer Ed Sheeran, who a couple of days ago, broke his arms in a road accident - will not be performing on the upcoming scheduled dates of his concerts in Asia.

The 'Shape Of You' hitmaker churned out almost $100 million from the North American and European legs of his 'Divide Tour', but will not be able to proceed with his previously announced stadium tour in 2018 - due to injuries sustained from the accident.

The 26 year old performer revealed the news on Instagram, following an incident which apparently fractured both of his arms.

"A visit to my doctors confirmed fractures in my right wrist and left elbow that will leave me unable to perform live concerts for the immediate future," Sheeran announced along with a picture of his arm. "Sadly, this means that the following shows will not be able to go ahead as planned: Taipei, Osake, Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong."

It is unclear yet, if the shows will be rescheduled for a later date, or cancelled altogether. "I'm waiting to see how the healing progresses before we have to decide on shows beyond that," a rep for the singer wrote on his IG.

Sheeran was reportedly hit by a car while riding a bike, which upon medical examination, revealed fractures on both of his arms.

Aah. Must be devastating for Sheeran's Asian fans!

Get well soon, Ed.
