Janet Jackson fans upset over Justin Timberlake being chosen to perform at Superbowl

It has been more than 13 years since Janet Jackson faced the embarrassment of having her breast mistakenly exposed on-stage by fellow performer Justin Timberlake during a live duet at the 2004 Superbowl halftime show

More than a decade later, the superstar remains banned and barred from performing at the event and her fans are not happy about that - especially since, Timberlake has now been officially confirmed as the lead performer on the upcoming event.

The Pop Queen's massive online fan following has launched a campaign with the hashtag - #JusticeForJanet, criticizing the show's organizers for their discrimination against the singer while inviting over Timberlake, who was equally a part of the infamous scandal.

People are now calling it out as "white privilege" and "male privilege" - wondering how Janet continues to remain banned by the NFL and Timberlake gets to grace the same stage again.

Jackson, who was strongly shamed and ridiculed post the wardrobe malfunction, which came to be known as 'Nipplegate' - hasn't really said anything on the matter - but the hypocrisy couldn't escape the sight of the internet...or her fans.
