Lorde, who's currently on-tour in Australia, celebrated the country's decision to vote in favor of marriage equality, with a Whitney Houston song.

The 'Royals' hitmaker was performing in Sydney when she stopped in the middle of her set to congratulate her Aussie fans on voting 'Yes' to legalize same-sex marriages across the country, in an eight-week postal survey.

"Congratulations on that same-sex marriage vote," she said grabbing a pride flag from a fan and placing it on her shoulder. "I'm very proud of you."

The New Zealand born star, then proceed to perform a short version of Houston's peppy classic from 1987 - 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody.'

Watch it below:

Around 61.6% percent people voted to legalize same-sex marriage in Australia this month. Although, an actual law hasn't been put in place yet, PM Turnbull did state that he'd "make their wish the law of the land by Christmas."

Gotta give a shout out to Lorde for spreading love!

What did you think of her take on this Whitney classic?
