Nicki Minaj's brother convicted of 'child rape'. Faces from 25 years to lifetime in prison

The verdict on Nicki Minaj's brother is finally out...finding him guilty of raping his then 11 year old stepdaughter back in 2015. 

Jelani Miraj fought for nearly 3 weeks in the courtroom in his defense, but to no avail.

He has been eventually found guilty of predatory sexual conduct with a child and endangering the well-being of a minor.

Minaj faces at least 25 years in prison, while the sentence could be extended for lifetime. The sentencing will reportedly take place on the 14th of December.

"We hope that today's verdict will help the family in the healing process and that it will close this terrible chapter in their lives,” ," Nassau Country District Attorney, Madeline Singas said in a statement.

Throughout the trial, Nicki Minaj has somewhat managed to keep herself away from stepping-into the spotlight, despite initial claims suggesting she might have to take a stand in the courtroom.
