Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey score nods for 2018 Golden Globes. See full list of nominations

The official list of nominations for 2018 Golden Globe Awards is out - and it has several surprising inclusions on it. 

Mary J Blige has grabbed a total of two nominations - one in the 'Supporting Actress' category for her performance in 'Mudbound' and other one in the 'Best Original Song' category for the song "Mighty River" - as featured in the same movie. Competing with Mary, in the latter category, Mariah Carey gets a surprise nod for delivering the title track for the movie, 'The Star.'

Octavia Spencer, Sally Hawkins, Jessica Chastain have also grabbed major nods in the acting department. 

Not so surprisingly, La Streep has also been nominated for her work in Steven Spielberg's 'The Post.'

Mudbound, The Post, The Shape Of Water, Get Out - are some of the movies competing in almost all major categories. 

The 75th annual Golden Globe awarding ceremony will take place on January 7th, 2018 and will air live on NBC.
