Do You Know Which Was Whitney Houston's Last #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts?

Whitney Houston was as much a phenomenon in popular charts, as revered she was amongst critics for her monumental singing talent.

The diva churned out a whopping 11 #1 Billboard Hot 100 singles in her career - and that's more than most artists in music can boast of.

Her #1 streak started from her debut studio album which was released in the year 1985, and it continued for almost a decade. And during this entire decade Whitney was a force to be reckoned with - for her star shined brighter than anyone else out there around that time, including Madonna, Janet Jackson or later in the 90's Mariah Carey.

In her string of 11 #1 hit singles, her last #1 Billboard hit was recorded in the year 1994 - when she debuted at the top of charts - becoming only the third artist in history to do so, with her catchy Babyface-produced hit single 'Exhale (Shoop Shoop)' from the motion picture soundtrack for Waiting To Exhale.

Although Houston continued to have several Top 5 singles in the Hot 100 later in her career, including the #2 hit Heartbreak Hotel and the #3 hit - 'It's Not Right, But It's Okay', but Exhale served as her last #1 (as of now, at least).

Her most recent international hit was in fact the Kygo-remixed Higher Love - which was released in the year 2017  - posthumously, 5 years after her passing. The song peaked at #2 on the UK singles charts and topped in many other countries - becoming her biggest international hit single since 1999.

Here's celebrating the diva's 11th #1, the infectiously catchy - Exhale -
