Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor separate after 17 years of marriage

Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor are partying ways, the couple announced on Friday.

After 17 years of marriage, the two of mutually agreed to be separated as announced in their joint statement to ET this Friday, “With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”

Ben and Christine got married in May 2000, in Kauai, Hawaii after falling in love durin the shooting of never-broadcast Fox television series entitield, Heat Vision and Jack.

The two made a number of appearances online in movies like Zoolander, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Tropic Thunder among others.

The couple has two children together, daughter Ella Olivia, born in 2002 and son, Quinlin Dempsey born in 2005.
