The 2017 Billboard Music Awards aired on Sunday 21 May Live on ABC and featured the much anticipated Diva showdown between Cher and Celine Dion as the two belted out their classics in different segments.
Cher, who was awarded the Billboard Icon award, performed a medley of her classics “Believe”/“If I Could Turn Back Time” before receiving the honor while Celine took to stage to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her 1997 released chart-smasher from ‘Titanic’, ‘My Heart Will Go On.’
The show also featured some other thrilling performances from Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, The Chainsmokers and an 8-some-minutes long medley by Nicki Minaj.
