Mariah Carey shows up four hours late for shoot, demands all white roses and stuffed toys
Well, these are the claims of one of her costars from The House - an upcoming comedy film starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler in the lead, in which Mariah does a small cameo.
Rob Huebel, who plays a gambler in an illegal casino in the movie, slammed Carey for her attitude during the filming of the movie.
Huebel appeared on SiriusXM's Entertainment Weekly Radio telling the host that the shoots with Carey "..did not go well"
Holding back initially, he asked the show's host if he was allowed to use swear words in the broadcast. After getting the nod for it, he continued, "“F***ing what is going on with her? It was bananas.”
Huebel claimed Carey showed up four hours late for the shoot, demanded "all white roses" upon arrival with some stuffed animals.
“She was hired to sing one song, and she was like, ‘You guys, I don’t want to sing that song.’ They’re like, ‘We hired you to sing this song,'” Huebel told recalling the day of shooting with Carey.
“So then they were going to do this bit where they shoot her and they kill her in the movie. Not in real life. But she didn’t want that. She was like, ‘I don’t think my character would get killed by bullets. What if I deflected them like Wonder Woman?’ They were like, ‘Mariah, we don’t have time for this. You’re getting paid so much money. We have you for one day. We don’t have time to argue with you. Just do it.’ She just didn’t want to do what they wanted her to do. Anyway, why am I talking trash about her?”
Mariah's reps have not commented on the claims as yet.
The House is directed by Andrew J. Cohen and produced under Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie is scheduled for a release on 30 June, 2017.
