On May 7th, Nicki agreed to pay Tuition fees of her fans who got ‘Straight A’s’ on tests via a post on Twitter. This caught the attention of several of her followers and non-followers who reached out to seek help with their educational dues.
Minaj then took bank details of the students and agreed to transfer the sum needed to pay off the fees. “U wan’t to go to college but can’t? How much do you need to get u in school?,” she wrote on Twitter
Nicki Minaj has been so inspired from the satisfaction of giving back to people, she’s now willing to turn it into an official charitable program where students can actually sign up to avail financial help pertaining to their education.
Nicki took to her Instagram account to make the announcement.
“This makes me so happy. [A few from the other day],” the 34 year old rapper said. “I’ll do another impromptu payment spree in a month or 2 but pls know that I’m launching my official charity for Student Loans/Tuition Payments VERY SOON! You’ll be able to officially sign up! I’ll keep you posted!”
Apparently, Nicki would do another impromptu give-away before coming up with her official charitable outlet.
