Tom Hanks brings back David S. Pumpkins to SNL

Perhaps SNL's greatest Halloween character, David S. Pumpkins was brought back to the show by Tom Hanks during the season's finale.

The character was first introduced on October 22, 2016 by Hanks in the skit "Haunted Elevator"

Wearing an orange-colored suit with pictures of pumpkins on it, the character is accompanied by two skeletons who dance around it as Mr Pumpkins smack on their butts.

SNL brought back the hysterical segment again for the show's season finale:

Hosted by Dwayne Johnson, Hanks earlier appeared on the episode with the former WWE Entertainer, as the two hinted on running for the 2020 presidential bid.

“When it comes to politics, we need more poise and less noise. Americans deserve strong capable leaders, leaders who care about this country and care about its people," said Dwayne during his opening monologue.

In response to which, Hanks announced, “Dwayne, that kinda sounds like you and me! I guess we gotta do it!”
