Ariana Grande makes a visit to the Manchester attack victims in the hospital
Ariana Grande landed back in the UK, after the terrorist attack during her Manchester concert on 22 May, claimed the lives of 22 and injured over a hundred.
Grande who is scheduled to perform a benefit concert for the victims and their families, visited the Royal Manchester -Children's Hospital on Friday, to meet the injured victims of the tragedy.
Peter Mann, shared the joyful pictures of her daughter's meeting with her idol on Facebook as he wrote, “This means more to us than all the amazing things people have done this week. when your daughter asks after her 2nd operation is ariana ok? so happy she came i could burst! Never seen jaden so happy! even cried again myself.”
10 year old Jaden Farrell-Mann was in awe and couldn't stop smiling as Grande hugged and kissed her little fan. Jaden's mom Sharon told Manchester Evening News, “Jaden was just sat there watching TV and she walked in. She was absolutely amazed! It was a complete surprise. She has a big smile anyway but it got even bigger, Ariana gave her a hug and a kiss, she was in awe. It was absolutely fantastic to see, she was so happy.”
"I got to meet my queen today", the ecstatic 10 year old wrote on her Twitter.
Adam Harrison, shared pictures of his 8 year old daughter meeting Grande as he later told PEOPLE, “What Ariana Grande did tonight was so selfless and amazing … Lily looked on cloud nine.”
The 22 lives lost during Grande's show included attendees as young as 8 years old, when 22 year old Salman Abedi denoated an explosive devide while the concert was still going on.Grande who was too shocked and shaken to respond, rushed to Florida to be with her family before she offered her condolences on Twitter, "broken, from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words."
She later wrote a heartfelt letter on the 26th of May, annoucing a tribute concert to honor the victims of the attack, the proceeds of which will be used in the benefit of the victims and their families.
To be aired live Freeform at 2 PM ET on Sunday, the concert will feature big names like The Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and many others besides Grande herself.
