Beyonce named the highest earning female celeb by Forbes

Forbes has released their annual list of the richest celebrities for the year 2017 – and Beyonce reigns the top spot on the list among females.

The list for the Highest Celebrity Earners was topped by rap-mogul Sean P. Diddy, who with a whopping earnings of $130 million in the magazine’s 12 month period of calculations, topped the list – while with $105 million haul Beyonce came second on the list and was the highest ranker among females.

Much of Beyonce’s moolah came from her enormously successful Formation World Tour and her platinum selling visual album, ‘Lemonade’ – making it the second largest annual earning of her career.

The third spot was taken by author J.K. Rowling who raked in a total of $95 million, ahead of Canadian rapper Drake, who banked a staggering $94 million – thanks to his sold-out concerts throughout the year. The top 5 was wrapped by Football legend Christiano Ronaldo who earned $93 million during the last 12 months.

Queen B, who’s presently on a break to give birth to her twins, from her second pregnancy with husband Jay Z – raked in quarter of a billion dollars from her Formation World Tour and also announced a special edition premium priced ‘Lemonade’ Box set for her chart-topping, critically acclaimed sixth studio album.

There is not doubt about the fact that Beyonce is one of the hardest working celebrities out there – who’s constant efforts to deliver perfection in her work, makes her stand out from the rest. That is one of the reasons why the Pop superstar, is still the top earning female celeb almost 20 years into her career.
