Former NFL Player James Hardy found dead in Indiana river. He was 31.

Ex-NFL player James Hardy was found dead an an Indiana River on Wednesday, as confirmed by police officials.

Hardy’s body was found by a city water filtration employee in the Maumee River. The police were called upon after his body was spotted in a log jam by the employee.

Sources told TMZ that Hardy was reported missing by his family on the 30th of May and looking at his body, it seemed like he had been in the water for several days.

The former American Football wide receiver, struggled after failing to make it in NFL during the later part of his career. Hardy also had a trouble with the law when back in 2014, he was arrested on felony charges for attacking police officers under the influence of drugs.

Later that year, a judge had ruled him to be unfit for trial and sent him to a mental facility.
