With a bombastic opening by Bruno Mars, a show-stopping performance by Mary J Blige, a reunion performance of Xscape – Sunday’s BET awards saw some of the biggest RnB and Pop stars put fire on our darn Television sets.While Beyonce and Bruno Mars took home the night’s biggest prizes, Migos , Kendrick Lamar and Solange were some of the other winners. Serena Williams won the Sportswoman Of The Year award and Chance The Rapper, got special recognition for his Humanitarian efforts.
RnB group New Edition was honored with a Lifetime Achievement award for contribution and influence in the field of music.
