During a recent interview in Israel, Pop superstar Mariah Carey was questioned about the whereabouts of her former lover James Packer, which seemed to have irked the diva a bit.
Carey’s former fiance, Packer has been involved in international corruption charges involving the PM of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, which allege that the Australian businessman handed over some ‘illegal-gifts’ to the Minister and his family, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.
Carey who is in Israel to promote her association with a local skincare product, appeared in an interview with Israel’s Channel 2 News in which the interviewer asked if she knew where Packer was. “I don’t know where the motherf—er is,” Carey stated. “How am I supposed to know? I really have no idea about the political stuff that goes on. I don’t. I don’t pay attention to it.”
Carey and Packer parted ways last October, after an engagement that lasted only a couple of months – during which the ‘Vision Of Love’ singer also attended a dinner with the Israeli PM accompanying Packer.
When asked about what went on during their dinner, Carey stated, “I was eating the food. I was just there because I was invited to dinner.”
