Katy Perry has made history. According to the recent certifications from RIAA Perry now has 3 singles with Diamond certifications – that is, with sales exceeding 10 million units each, becoming the only artist in history to do so.The third single to help her achieve this historic feat is ‘Roar’ (2013), which surpassed the 10 million mark in sales, joining her previous two diamond singles – ‘Firework’ (2010) and ‘Dark Horse’ (2013). Interestingly, the three singles have released before RIAA began including streaming data into its calculations.

Katy has a singular track record of notable Gold & Platinum achievements, and this triple Diamond milestone is now forever etched in our program’s history.
