At the ongoing Roots picnic, Solange sang the title track from the soundtrack of the early 2000’s animated sitcom while the crowd couldn’t help but chant along with her.
The video shared online by one of the attendees shows Solange thanking her fans for their support before proceeding to sing the song, as the crowd quickly chimes in with her.

The original version from the soundtrack was sung by Solange and Destiny’s Child. The singer was only 15 when she wrote and recorded the song in which her sister-led group provided the backing vocals.
The Proud Family was one of the most loved sitcoms that aired on Disney Channel from 2001 to 2005.
